In addition to having been associated with the micro, small and medium scale and microfinance sectors for the past 23 years Mr Chitambo sits on the following boards: Zimbabwe Microfinance Fund ( trustee) Empretec Zimbabwe Microfinance Institution Pension Fund Small and Medium Enterprises Development Corporation (SMEDCO).     Finance and Administration Officer Ms. Judith Nyanderu Judith has served as the Finance and Administration Officer of the Zimbabwe Association of Microfinance Institutions (ZAMFI) since 2003. She has 12years work experience in Finance and Accounting and variance analysis, financial accounting policies and procedures, project management, procurement, general office administration and human resources management. Judith has administered several projects, among them: coordinating the SEEP AFMIN 2007 Frame Workshop held in Zimbabwe and helping to set up the Zimbabwe Microfinance Wholesale Facility Trust (ZMWFT) funded by Hivos, DFID and GIZ (2010 to 2012.)     Programmes Officer Mrs. Beatrice Chitsika Beatrice Chitsika is responsible for the programmes department. She is an expert for the rural microfinance programme & mainstreaming gender, HIV/AIDS into the microfinance sector .  Beatrice has 14 years experience in microfinance and training of trainers in both urban and rural communities of Zimbabwe. Prior to joining ZAMFI she has worked in microfinance projects for SOS Children’s Villages, Farm Community Trust, CARE International and Credit Against Poverty. Beatrice Chitsika holds a Masters Degree in Business Administration, a Post Graduate Diploma in Project Planning and Management and a Business Studies Degree from the University of Zimbabwe.   Read More

    Bulawayo Office Coordinator Mr. George Nhepera Mr. George Nhepera is the Bulawayo office Coordinator. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Banking) and Masters in Finance and Investments, both from the National University of Science and Technology (NUST). Prior to joining ZAMFI in 2013, Mr. Nhepera was a Bank & Microfinance Examiner with Reserve Bank of Zimbabwe (RBZ) for 13 years. The position exposed him to knowledge and skills in onsite and offsite supervision of financial institutions, risk management, compliance monitoring and corporate governance. At the ZAMFI-Bulawayo regional office and working in very close liaison with the ZAMFI board member domiciled in Bulawayo, Mr. Nhepera is in charge of key functions such as MFI performance monitoring, compliance with laws and regulations, chapter meetings, workshops, research and rural microfinance initiatives.   Read More
